Then I am very surprised about all your wide knowledge about Islam, and nice to know about your approach, because people like that girl that only judge others and don't see themselves at all really get on my nerves, but anyway nice to 'meet' you (: And Cologne is a beautiful city, I have visited it twice
*g* Nice to "meet" you too. If you pass by Cologne again, let me know. We could get together for a cup of coffee or something.
As for my knowledge about a faith that I don't follow: I'm member of a community called "muslimgirls" over at livejournal, because I wanted to know more about the muslim faith...and the rest is google-fu. I like getting into discussions with people like that girl...who knows, maybe challenging her beliefs will make her think a bit more and expand her worldview some. Every little bit helps ^_~
Annoying how the Photomatix application creates noise on the foreground elements (i.e. the top right), but the angle of this shot is what takes me. Really looks like I could reach out and touch the towers.
A lot of the time HDRi pics can have over-dramatic skies which I don't always think benefits the photo, whereas here I think you've toned the sky perfectly.
Did you manually darken the tops of the buildings in this photo? I think it looks great, and was just wondering how you did it.
Umm nope, I think they were darker itself a bit and then photomatix did the other effects! And yes, I dislike how people overuse the HDR effect, I tend to make pics as natural as possible, and I hate that noise too, but what can I do, I love HDR !! Thank you for the comment
